In many cases, factory-rebuilt Glocks begin as display models or have cosmetic flaws that do not meet Glock Inc.'s quality standards. When this occurs, the firearm is returned to Glock, where worn parts are replaced, the metal is refinished, and the firearm is labeled as a "rebuilt."
