Product Description
The LEGION P229 features a Cerakote Elite LEGION gray coating, custom G-10 grips with a LEGION medallion, and the SIG SAUER Electro-Optics X-RAY high-visibility day/night sights. It comes with three magazines. The P229 in SAO model includes a reduced, contoured Elite beavertail that allows for a higher grip while maintaining a slimmer profile to prevent printing. More aggressive front strap checkering and additional checkering under the trigger guard improve grip. An X-Five undercut on the trigger guard enables a higher grip for better control. Front cocking serrations provide more grip for cycling the action, clearing the firearm, or performing press checks. The pistol is available in 9mm and features low-profile decocking and slide catch levers to reduce snagging. An upgraded polished action with the SRT (Short-Reset Trigger) is enhanced with a Grayguns, Inc.-designed P-SAIT trigger. Additionally, it includes a solid steel guide rod, adding weight where it matters most.
