Instead, HK commemorate such an occasion with what they do best: HK's proprietary alloy of high-chromium, cannon-grade steel, and glass-filled nylon. This creates a very limited opportunity to own a piece of their 75-year history with an exclusive two-pistol set of 75th anniversary HK VP9 pistols. Only 1,000 pairs will be sold, and sets will not be broken up. These pistols are, very appropriately, decorated in Flecktarn and Tropentarn, the camo patterns utilized by the German armed forces, the Bundeswehr. Pistols are finished in Cerakote and packed in a custom-cut polymer hard case with a commemorative 75th Anniversary coin.
