Exclusive to Spyderco, CPM SPY27 supercharges the cobalt-enriched chemistry of VG-10 stainless steel with niobium, nitrogen, and increased volumes of carbon, molybdenum, and vanadium to offer an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. This knife's satin finish, full-flat ground PlainEdge blade takes full advantage of these properties and is paired with a lightweight fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle molded in a distinctive cobalt blue - one of the signature handle colors of their elite SPY27 family of knives.
