Ethics & CA Transparency in Supply Chains Act
Force Protection Agency Inc., DBA Beverly Hills Guns, is committed to ensuring that its subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers act in a manner that shows proper respect for the human rights of their employees. To that end, we engage in the following practices:
Verification
We typically deal directly with our suppliers to ensure not only the quality of the products they produce for us but also to confirm the propriety of business practices undertaken by that supplier. This verification includes, but is not limited to, direct visits to the supplier production facility by our personnel; follow-up visits to the supplier location from time to time by our personnel; direct visits by employees of our sister companies or affiliates to potential and selected suppliers; review of disclosures and documentation pertaining to the supplier such as Dun & Bradstreet reports, banking and other references, credit reports, etc.
Audit
During the course of our interaction with long-term suppliers, we maintain frequent communication with the supplier including, but not limited to, direct visits, review of public and other documentation pertaining to the supplier, continued discussions with the supplier at trade events, etc. These activities are undertaken directly by our personnel or by a sister company or other affiliate employees.
Certifications
Our purchase orders with all chosen suppliers require full compliance by that supplier with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938. Suppliers confirm their commitment to these stipulations either by return signature of purchase orders or by the delivery of goods and services against the delivery order provided to them by us.
Accountability
Suppliers found to be in violation of applicable federal, state, and local laws including, but not limited to, those pertaining to use of slave labor or human trafficking in their business practices are subject to termination of their business relationship with us.
Training
Our Purchasing Department is trained in the use and meaning of the terms and conditions used by us with respect to our chosen suppliers to ensure compliance with all stipulations contained in purchase orders including, but not limited to, provisions relating to labor conditions. Our employees also report on working and other business conditions of potential suppliers or suppliers that they visit.
