XS DXT2 Big Dot Night Sights provide the best front sight visibility in all lighting conditions. DXT2 Big Dot sights focus attention on the front sight using a high-contrast front and a V-notch rear for an unobstructed view of the front sight. The DXT2 Big Dot front sights feature a patent-pending glow dot that absorbs light and emits a glow in low light levels before the tritium becomes visible. Optic Orange is designed to deliver a high-contrast sight picture in bright light and remain visible as lighting decreases. To ensure visibility in uncharged low light, optic orange relies primarily on yellow with a touch of red. The larger surface area of the convex dot enhances light absorption, increasing the charge of the glow properties. The "dot-the-i" sight picture, with a tritium dot in the front sight and a tritium bar in the rear, prevents confusion between front and rear sights in stressful situations. The wide field of view improves visibility of both the front sight and the target downrange.
